Job Duties for Shipping and Receiving Associate / Sales: Job Open

Position Overview: The Shipping and Receiving Associate / Sales at our BENELLIPRO MOTO MART will operate both our shop and our website sales. This role is vital in ensuring that all motorcycle parts and products are accurately processed, stored, and dispatched to our customers in a timely manner. This position involves a combination of customer service, sales, and logistics, making it essential to be detail-oriented and customer-focused in all interactions.

Job Duties:

Shop Opening and Closing:

• • Open shop promptly at 9:00 AM and maintain a clean and organized shop environment, including tidying up after opening and before closing..
  • Close shop at 6:00 PM, ensuring that the store is secured properly and no light is open.
  • Conduct a thorough check of locks before leaving the premise

Receiving Shipments:

• • • Bringing new stock from Daewoo terminal or other transporting service providers.
    • Process incoming shipments by carefully verifying and inspecting for damage and report to manager.
    • Taking pictures of new stock for website display and make new SKU labels.

 

Inventory Management:

• • Organize and proper storage of received merchandise in designated areas or boxes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and updating inventory file.
  • Organize and label received products for efficient storage and retrieval.

 

Order Processing:

• • Prepare orders received from the website or WhatsApp.
  • Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate, well-packed and safe.
  • Double check for product quantity, note by customer, courier choose by customer, address and phone number before dispatching order.

 

Shipping Coordination:

• • Dispatch all orders timely.
  • All customer orders must be dispatched via the courier company selected by the customer. There is no excuse that the courier office is far away. Customers may choose from TCS, PostEx, Leopards, Daewoo, or any other available courier service. It is your responsibility to ensure timely dispatch regardless of the courier location.
  • Monitor shipment tracking and resolve any shipping issues or delays with courier company and update customer.

 

Customer Service Support:

• • Assist in responding to customer inquiries regarding order status and shipping information.
  • Help facilitate returns and exchanges by managing return shipments and updating inventory.
  • Greet walk-in customers warmly and assist them.

 

Maintenance and Cleanliness:

• • Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are well organized, clean, and safe.
  • Regularly check and maintain equipment used for shipping and receiving, like scales and packaging.

 

Collaboration:

• • Work closely with the senior staff to ensure alignment on inventory levels and order fulfillment processes.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss operational improvements and coordination efforts.

 

Compliance:

• • Follow all company policies and procedures related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Adhere to local regulations and safety standards in the transportation and handling of products.

 

Training and Development:

• • Stay updated on the latest shipping practices, tools, and technologies through social media.
  • Participate in training sessions or workshops for professional development.

 

Miscellaneous Tasks:

• Assist with any additional duties as assigned by the management to support overall operational efficiency.
• Provide support to other staff as needed during peak times or absence.
•  Maintain daily/monthly courier sheet.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; any experience in motorcycle parts or maintenance is a plus.
• Basic computer skills. MS Word, Printing etc.
• Must reside in Gujranwala city.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.

 

Salary: Rrange from PKR 25,000 to 30,000+, depending on role & experience—competitive for Gujranwala’s market.

Timing: Full time from 9am to 6pm

Prayer/Lunch Break: 1 Hour (12:00 to 1:00 or 1:00 to 2:00 as per staff agreed)

Location: Johar City, Gujranwala

Holiday: Friday

Sick Leave Allowed in a month: 1

Salary Deduction: Late attendance per hour PKR 120 and extra leave per day PKR 962.
